48 hours after your service, you may wash your hair with suggested shampoo. You will see color in your first shampoo. The pigment might also rub onto pillow cases or appear to be rinsing out in the shower during the 5-ish shampoos depending on the color. The color should lighten gradually after those initial shampoos and stay in for 2 to 9 weeks if cared for properly. Some will fade quicker than others, like toner, pastel, neon, and other bright colors.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR VIBRANT COLOR

1. Use dark towels, a dark pillowcase, and wear dark shirts until color stops bleeding when wet.

2. Only use professional Shampoo and Conditioner. These products are only guaranteed for their purpose when purchased in salon.

3 .Use cool water to wash and condition.

4. If you use flat irons, curling irons, or heating tools, set the iron as low as possible, 250 degrees.

To much heat will fade the color or hair treatment.

5. If you use flat irons, curling irons, or heating tools, use a professional-brand heat protectant.

This will help the hot tool glide efficiently over double-processed vivid hair.

6. Avoid wetting hair with pool water. If you know you can not help it, let me know and I will suggest a ph balancing conditioner to help chlorine from messing up your color.

GK RESISTANT KERATIN TREATMENT

For 48 hours:

Do not wet or dampen your hair.
Do not do anything that will cause your hair to wave.
Do not apply hair accessories that might put dents or waves on your hair.

If your hair does happen to get wet, or wave, blowdry the area until it is as flat as possible, and then use a flat iron to smooth it back out.

48 hours after your treatment, you may wash your hair with recommended shampoo and conditioner. The conditioner needs to stay in the hair for 2 minutes because it gently changes the ph of the hair to keep the treatment in. After the first hair wash (after 48 hours) hair clips and accessories may be used.

The keratin smoothing treatment will stay in the hair for about 5 months if treated properly.
